The Grab functions are used to move existing elements to new locations. When an item is selected, it will be removed from the file and a "ghost" of the item will attached to the graphics cursor and will travel about the screen as the cursor is moved. In this "ghost" form, the grabbed file element can be rotated in 90° increments by typing <R> and can be mirrored by typing <X> or <Y>.

While they are grabbed, elements can be returned to their original position in the file at any time simply by pressing <right mouse> or <Escape>.

When the element has been repositioned as desired, it can be set back down onto the drawing field by pressing <left mouse> or <Enter>.

The grab menu can be invoked be typing <G> on the keyboard and will display the following functions:

No dialog boxes are used by the grab functions.
